HTC One Starts Receiving the Android 4.3 Official OTA Update in UK

As discussed before, HTC, the other leading mobile brand in the world has already enlisted itself in the course of updating its HTC One units with the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Official OTA Update in several European countries. But unfortunately, the HTC One units in UK had not been blessed with the same yet and hence HTC has decided to do the same. Accordingly, the HTC One devices based in UK have started receiving the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OTA Update, starting from a few hours ago.

If you are an UK based HTC One user, then you must check the notification panel of your device to notice availability of the latest firmware. The firmware follows the one-click installation method and hence is easy to install. However, you must remember that devices running on stock Android are only liable to get the update. If your device has gone through any major customization or runs on a custom ROM, then it will not receive the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OTA Update alert.

As usual, the update will bring your device dozens of new improvements that include the latest Sense 5.5 update, better Video Highlights Interface, tweaked BlinkFeed (supports Google + & RSS Feeds with disabling functionality), and OpenGL ES 3.0 etc. The update too brings you a number of other manual updates that you can sense only after updating your device with the latest Android OTA firmware.

We must inform you here that the OTA update carries the same firmware version 3.62.401.1 which is used to update the HTC One devices in different parts of Europe. To get the update in your device, you must wait to get the update alert in your notification panel or you can manually search for the same by going through Settings => More => About Device => Software Update section. Nothing to worry if you have not got the alert yet since it comes in installments and hence the HTC UK must take some time to send the update to your device.

After the updation feel free to share with us the extra improvements you do experience in your device.
