If you are a service holder in Indian Railway, then good news for you because from January 1, you are going to get servuce from Indian Railway. Now all the employees of Indian Railway will get connection from Reliance Jio. The alliance of Reliance Jio with Indian Railway will be that the railway bills will be reduced to 35 percent.
According to RAILTEL, the new CUG responsibility for Indian Railway has been handed over to Jio. As per this new alliance, the Indian Railway employees will be facilitated with new Jio connection and unlimited calling. So let’s see how much data would be conferred to which employees.

Indian Railway was provided service by Bharati Airtel still 31 December 2018 and Airtel was also the telecom partner for Indian Railway from the last six years. Indian Railway has provided CUG connection to almost 1.95 lakh railway employees and for that the company pays approx 100cr towards phone bill every month.
As per this new alliance, Jio will introduce four plans for Indian Railway. The Senior most employees (2 percent) will be provided with Rs.125 plan for month in which they will get 60GB data and unlimited calling per month.

Similarly, employees equivalent to the position of Joint Secretary will be provided with Rs.99 data plan which will provide 45GB data per month with unlimited calling and all other employees will be provided with Rs.67 data plan which will have 30GB data per month+unlimited calling.
However, the employees need not worry about payment as Indian Railway will take care of it.
