Lenovo Launches ThinkBook Plus Gen 3, Know What’s Unique!

The ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 has been introduced by Lenovo as its newest and most unique laptop in India. The characteristics of this device were created with the needs of the current workforce in mind. The primary display of the new laptop uses a 21:10 ultra-wide aspect ratio. The most interesting feature is the secondary display which is positioned next to the keyboard like a built-in tablet.

Features

The 17.3-inch primary display with a 21:10 aspect ratio is the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 laptop’s standout feature. The display has a 3K screen resolution (3072 x 1440 pixels). A refresh rate of 120 Hz, 99 percent DCI-P3 colour spectrum coverage, touch input, and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. This is accompanied by a second display that appears to be an integrated tablet within the laptop base. It is positioned to the right of the keyboard and trackpad. The second monitor measures 8 inches and has HD+ resolution (800 x 1280 pixels). It has a 350Hz peak brightness, 60 percent NTSC colour gamut coverage, a 60Hz refresh rate, and touch inputs.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor built into the power button, a full HD video calling webcam with a privacy shutter, two 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos certification and Harman Kardon branding, and a 69Wh battery with an 8.4-hour full HD movie playback rating.

The laptop’s 12th generation Intel Core i7-12700H processor, which has 14 cores and 20 threads, is among its other important features. The CPU has a 24MB cache capacity and a 4.7GHz maximum clock speed. This is coupled with 16GB of 4800MHz DDR5 memory. The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3’s storage, a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, and RAM, both of which are non-upgradeable, are merged. It is driven by an in-built graphics processor called Intel Iris Xe.

 

Price and availability

The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 is now available for purchase. Both third party offline retail stores and the official Lenovo India website offer the laptop for sale. Lenovo has not stated whether it would also be accessible through online e-commerce sites, though. The starting price for the laptop is Rs 1,94,990.
