Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL to launched in India soon

Microsoft  has announced that its Windows 10 powered Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL handsets will land in India  by December this year. These smartphones are loaded with great features and have been designed with great technical knowledge. Microsoft will rely on these smartphones to improve its market share in India.

The Microsoft Lumia 950  features a 5.2-inch QHD display with a pixel density of 564ppi on the front. Gorilla Glass  3 coating protects the screen from any scratches. A 3000mAh battery serves as the energy supplier for the device.


 The handset is driven by a mighty 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC and Adreno 418.  The Lumia 950 guarantees incredible performance with the powerful 3GB of RAM.The inbuilt storage is also very impressive with 32GB of inbuilt storage . You have the choice to expand the storage upto 200GB via microSD card.


The Lumia 950  handset sports a whooping 20-megapixel rear camera. The rear camera is made up of the renowned  Carl Zeiss optics known for its unparalleled image capture. The rear camera can make  4K video recording and has triple LED RGB flash, OIS and an f/1.9 aperture. Other camera features include PureView technology, panorama, geo-tagging, face detection and HDR The smartphones also feature a 5-megapixel front camera with an f/2.4 aperture and full-HD video recording. Connectivity features include A-GPS, GLONASS,DUAL SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC,3G, LTE and FM.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL Dual SIM comes with a bigger 5.7-inch QHD display with a pixel density of 518ppi and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The battery is also a bigger one which is rated at 3300mAh.


 It also has better hardware than the 950 Dual SIM. A 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 engine and  Adreno 430 powers the device. It has the same  3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 200GB via microSD card.


The Lumia 950 XL handset  sports  the same 20-megapixel rear camera. with 4K video recording capability ,triple LED RGB flash,  OIS and an f/1.9 aperture. There is the same  5-megapixel front camera too. Connectivity features are also the same that includes 3G, DUAL SIM, LTE A-GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC.


Both handsets are also liquid cooled so that you don’t scared of any heating issues. The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL come with adaptive antenna technology to give superb reception. The smartphones also sport USB Type-C port (USB 3.1 ) which enables you to charge 50 percent of the battery in just 30 minutes of time. The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL pricing has not been announced for India but in the US, Lumia 950 pricing begins at $549 (approximately Rs. 35,800) and  the Lumia 950 XL starts at $649 (approximately Rs. 42,300).
