The launch of OxygenOS 13 has officially been announced by OnePlus, and the operating system’s “Aquamorphic Design” aesthetic is inspired by water. Users of the OnePlus 10 Pro will soon be able to access the latest software upgrade as an open beta update. For a better user experience, OnePlus claims to provide simple icons, animations, and a diversity of forms and textures with OxygenOS 13.

A Sidebar Toolbox, a ColorOS feature, will also be available to users. It is primarily a group of programs that can be accessed fast and is located on the right side of the screen. With OxygenOS 13, the organization is also enhancing the default home launcher. The size of folder icons has been enlarged, making it possible to access some apps more quickly without having to open the folder. OxygenOS 13 will include new features and performance enhancements in addition to aesthetic changes.

Other new features include the introduction of Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos support, an audio switch for switching seamlessly between Bluetooth headphones and earphones, and Nearby Share and App streaming for sharing the phone’s display with ChromeOS devices. OxygenOS 13 will also bring a new feature called Private Safe 2.0, which secures data, documents, and media files in a virtual safe so that they can’t be accessed by other applications.

The freshly released OnePlus 10T smartphone will also receive the latest software update, but not until later in the year.
