OxygenOS security patch update rolled for OnePlus 9RT in India

Good news OnePlus 9RT users! The company has started rolling the OxygenOS 11_A.05 security patch update for users in India and other countries around the globe. The update which was rolled earlier this week has brought the February security patch updates for the Smartphone. With that the freezing issue while making calls on Instagram and in the Gallery and Clock apps, has been fixed.

The new update  OxygenOS 11_A.05 bears the firmware version MT2111_11_A.05 and is sized at 179MB. On priority, the update will fix the freezing issue that used to occur in the gallery app while sharing images and also will optimise the time for syncing photos. Also the users will not experience the freezing issue in Instagram after updating their devices to the latest OS.

Besides, the new update also brings lots of improvisations to the camera app and has addressed fixes to the missing images issue that was happening while clicking images with the ultra-wide angle camera in night mode with a tripod. After the update, the users can record quality videos in 60fs with ultra-wide camera in low light conditions. Among other bugs, the issues that occurred in the display and Clock app including Alaram issue also will be fixed.

Because the update is rolled Over The Air, so the users may take little time to get the update notification on their Smartphones. You can also manually check for the same by going to Settings > System > System Updates. While updating your device, make sure that it has at least 50 percent charge and it’s connected to a WiFi or stable Mobile data network.
