Apple warns iPhone users not to attach phone while driving, else camera might get damaged

This warning from Apple is not only for Super Bike or Bullet users, but Scooter and Moped users also can suffer from this problem.

Just before launching iPhone 13, Apple has warned the iPhone users that the vibration of their Motorcycles can damage the iPhone camera. Apple has detailed about this issue on their support page. Apple said that most of the iPhone cameras support Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Close Loop Autofocus System which prevent jerks in videos during shoot.

In fact, most of the motorcycle users this date are attaching their Smartphones to Google map while driving. In such cases vibration of the motorcycles highly impact the iPhones. Apple has warned the iPhone users to refrain from such activities, else their Smartphone might get damaged. But users who simply drive bikes by keeping iPhone in their pockets would not suffer from such problem.

Apple said that the iPhone camera might get damaged and photo quality also get blurred if iPhone is attached to motorcycles for long. Apple says that not only iPhones, but many large electronics products that offer OIS systems also deteriorate when exposed in direct exposure to high-amplitudes in a certain frequency range for a long period of time.

This warning from Apple is not meant only for high speed bike or bullet users, the scooter and moped users who attach their iPhone during drive will also suffer from this problem. So if you want your iPhone not to get damaged and its camera quality sustain, then don’t attach you iPhone to your bikes.

Worth mentioning, Apple is hosting an event on 14 September on which the company will launch the iPhone 13 series, new Airpods and Apple watch 7 series. The leaked report conveys the Apple iPhone 13 supports satellite phone feature, but it’s not meant for all countries.
