Caution

Requirement
- Redmi Note 10 Pro
- Windows 7 or higher
- Enable USB debugging on your device by going to Settings- About- Build number (seven times)-Go back, and select Developer options- USB debugging
- Setup adb and fastboot in your computer
- Backup all the data
Unlock bootloader of Redmi phone
Unlock the bootloader of Redmi Note 10 Pro OR follow the steps
- First Create a Mi account on Xiaomi’s website which can take 30 days to allow the unlock
- Add a phone number to your mi account.
- Insert the SIM card in the phone.
- Activate the program settings in the Settings> Phone info menu by pressing MIUI repeatedly.
- Connect your device to your MI account in Settings> Advanced settings> Developer settings> My unlock status.
- Download the MI Unlock program (Windows is required to run the program).
- Activate the MI Unlock program and follow the program instructions
- Once you’ve successfully verified your device and MI account that is the bootloader is unlocked
- After a full rest, you will need to re-enable USB debugging to continue.
The installation can be done in two different ways and they are using fastboot and another from recovery.
How to install the custom Recovery using fastboot
- Download the PixelExperience Recovery. This is the latest recovery file that to be downloaded
- Connect your Redmi to your PC via USB.
- On the computer, open a command prompt and type
adb reboot bootloader
You can also boot into fastboot mode via a key combination
By powered off, hold Volume Down + Power. Keep holding both buttons until the word “FASTBOOT” appears on the screen, then release.
- When it is in fastboot mode verify your computer by typing
Fastboot devices
- Now flash the recovery onto your device
fastboot flash recovery <recovery_filename>.img
If you have problem and keep hanging then tryto change the USB port or try a new cable.
- Now reboot into recovery to verify the installation with the device powered off, hold Volume Up + Power. Keep holding both buttons until the “MI” logo appears on the screen, then release.
How install PixelExperience from Recovery
- First download the PixelExperience installation package that you would like to install or build the package yourself.
- Now boot into recovery mode by power off and then holding volume up+ power button. Release the bottons when the MI logo is visible on screen
- Now tap factory reset, then format the data / factory settings and continue formatting. This deletes the encryption and deletes all the files stored in the internal memory and forms your cache.
- Return to main menu
- Sideload the PixelExperience .zip package:
- On the device, select “Apply Update”, then “Apply from ADB” to begin sideload. and On the host machine sideload the package using adb sideload filename.zip
