Redmi Note 11T Pro Series enter Indian Market as Redmi K50i

Redmi Note 11T Series were launched in China earlier this May. Speculations were roaming around about the models getting rebranded, prior to their launch in India.

Now, Xiaomi has unveiled the devices in India, with the series named as ‘Redmi K50i series’. The devices are also likely to be released globally, as Poco X4 GT Pro, and Poco X4 GT. The rebranded models shall arrive in markets with the same hardware and design, and with similar specifications.

The duo in the series are powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant. Android 12 Operating System topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 13 is what the models sport. The smartphones carry dual sim ports along with a triple rear camera comprising of a 64 mp, an 8 mp and a 2 mp macro camera. On the frontal, both the devices equip a 16 mp front camera.

The Redmi K50i will be on sale in India by the beginning of July Last week. The model shall carry 3 colour options including, Stealth Black, Quick Silver, and Phantom Blue. It is to be priced as following:

  • 6GB + 128GB variant: ₹25,999
  • 8GB + 256GB variant: ₹28,999

Talking about offers, Xiaomi had ventured into a partnership with ICICI bank to offer up to ₹3,000 instant discounts on purchases made with ICICI Bank cards. Along with the device, Xiaomi has also released Redmi Buds 3 Lite TWS earbuds in the Indian market, with an MRP of Rs. 1,999. The earbuds shall be placed at a price of Rs. 1,499 for the first 48 hours after sale.
