The Vivo Y30 5G, launched today in Thailand, features a dual camera setup at the rear and is equipped with an IPS display measuring 6.51 inches. The smartphone offers two colour options, namely, Rainbow Fantasy and Starlight Black. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC that comes along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is backed up by a 5,000mAh battery and also comes with a USB Type-C port. A fingerprint scanner is mounted inside the power button on the side of the handset, and the device can be unlocked or locked by using the face wake feature.
Pricing
The phone is powered by the Dimensity chipset. Both the RAM size and storage space are subject to expansion with virtual RAM (+2GB) and a microSD card (being up to 1TB), respectively. The company took to their official Facebook handle to announce their latest model’s arrival. The device has been priced at 8,699 Thai Bhat which roughly comes around Rs. 19,000.
Optics
Talking about the optics, Vivo Y30 5G features a dual rear camera setup with a 50 mp + 2 mp lens along with an LED flash, while at the front, the handset sports an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. This camera comes with a Super Night Mode that captures images in low-light conditions. The Dual-view video feature lets users record videos from both the front and rear cameras at the same time. It additionally supports picture-in-picture mode. Other camera features include Eye Autofocus, Multi-style portrait, face beauty, panorama mode, live photo, slow motion, and time-lapse.
Game-mode
With the Vivo Y30 5G, you can even play games in picture-in-picture mode and experience 4D game vibration. It also sports a “Do Not Disturb” feature. For gaming, Multi-Turbo 5.5 optimizes the handset’s SoC, GPU, RAM, and touch.
With all these amazing specifications, also comes a promise from the company that the battery life of claimed music playback time is 140 hours, that of online watch time is 15.9 hours , and 27.2 days of standby time.
