It seems that Samsung Galaxy Core (Model No: I8262) is coming to India, as the smartphone has lately been spotted on Saholic. Though the e-store doesn’t have any pricing details, but it says that the device is going to be available by 15th of this month. The global announcement of the smartphone was made recently and its arrival to India was expected as well. Interested customers can subscribe to the ecommerce website to get instant notification as soon as the device is available. The dual SIM variant of the device is listed on Saholic and some other reports suggest that its single SIM variant will be available in the month of July this year. As stated above, the price of the device is currently unavailable but it is expected to be priced at Rs.23,000/-.
Samsung Galaxy Core I8262 smartphone might be available in Black & White color options. Other than being Dual SIM capable, the smartphone also supports Dual GSM standby. The size of its TFT LCD screen is 4.3 inches, which has a WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution. The screen is full touch capacitive and supports multi-touch input as well. The device features accelerometer sensor and proximity sensor.
The smartphone supports Java by means of MIDP emulator and run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. A dual core processor with maximum clock speed of 1.2 GHz is there to carry out all kind of tasks seamlessly. It is also a dual camera smartphone. The camera placed at the rear of the device is of 5 Megapixels resolution and comes coupled with an LED flash. And the front-facing one is a VGA camera. Samsung has provided the Galaxy Core with a special Noise Reduction technology that automatically eliminates background noises. The weight of the device is merely 124 grams and it is 8.95 mm thick.
