Tutorial to Install Android 11 G781BXXU2CUD1 Firmware on Samsung Galaxy S20 FE SM-G781B in India

Samsung is coming with a new successor Galaxy S21 FE soon in couple of months. And Galaxy S20 FE has upgraded its OS to Android 11 INS INDIA G781BXXU2CUD1 firmware.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has two variant 4G and 5G. The update that is explained is for 5G variant only. These two models have different chipsets. The FE stands for fan edition. Pre-requisites

  • Original USB Cable
  • Enable USB Debugging Mode. You will find the option in the Developer Section of your device. By pressing built number for 7 time
  • Back Up all important data in your Smartphone since the update will erase all your data.
  • Keep at least 60% battery back up on your Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G to avoid accidental shut down during installation.
  • Make sure you install the latest firmware on SM-G781B model only
  • Make sure, the SAMSUNG-drivers are installed on your PC
  • Download Odin3-v3.14.4.zip file keep in PC
  • Download Android 11 G781BXXU2CUD1 Firmware keep in PC

Tutorial to Update on Samsung Galaxy S20 FE SM-G781B

Download Android 11 G781BXXU2CUD1 Firmware for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE SM-G781B. Then extract the firmware file you just downloaded in your PC. You should get 5 files.

AP (System &Recovery)

BL (Bootloader)

CP (Modem / Radio)

CSC_*** (Country / Region / Operator)

HOME_CSC_*** (Country / Region / Operator)

  1. Now add each file to its relevant field in Odin v3.14.4. If you want to do a clean flash than Use CSC_*** or if you want to keep your apps and data then add in HOME_CSC_***.

2. Switch off the device and then reboot your phone in Download / Odin mode pressing the POWER + VOLUME DOWN + BIXBY

  1. If the above options did not work then try 5 more method by pressing;
  • VOLUME DOWN + VOLUME UP then USB cable
  • POWER + VOLUME DOWN + VOLUME UP
  • POWER + VOLUME DOWN + HOME BUTTON
  • (Note9) USB cable + VOLUME DOWN + BIXBY
  • (Note10) POWER + VOLUME UP
  1. Once you are in download mode than connect your phone to the PC, if possible use the original USB cable you got with your phone.
  2. A BLUE box will show up with the COM port number when the Odin gets detected in your device.
  3. Make sure you don’t tick any extra boxes. The only options to be ticked are F.Reset Time and Auto-Reboot only.
  4. After that click on the start button, wait for Odin to say ‘PASS‘in a GREEN box.
  5. Once the flash is completed then your phone will reboot and then disconnect your phone from the PC
  6. Now again go to ODIN in PC and there you get AP (System &Recovery) get Extract the firmware file you just downloaded. You should get 1 file MD5-file in AP-field in Odin and add that.
  7. Reboot your phone in Download mode by pressing the POWER + VOLUME DOWN + BIXBY
  8. Once you are in download mode than connect your phone to the PC, if possible use the original USB cable you got with your phone.
  9. A BLUE box will show up with the COM port number when the Odin gets detected in your device.
  10. Make sure you don’t tick any extra boxes. The only options to be ticked are F.Reset Time and Auto-Reboot only.
  11. After that click on the start button, wait for Odin to say ‘PASS‘in a GREEN box.

Voila! The G781BXXU2CUD1 Firmware Android 11 is successfully installed in your Samsung Galaxy S20 FE easily by following the guide.
