Twitter’s Undo Send timer for Tweets Feature to launch Soon

The World’s largest Micro-blogging site Twitter is working on a  new feature that will allow users to undo a recently sent Tweet. The feature is called ‘Undo Send’ and it will allow 30 seconds to the users to Undo their tweets. It was confirmed from a survey conducted by Twitter in July last year. Though nothing has been made official on the release date of the new feature, app researcher Jane Manchun Wong has lately discovered an animation for “Undo Send,” which will let you know about its functionality.

If you mark the animation closely, you will see that the feature functions somewhat like the ‘Unsend’ feature of Gmail. Once this feature is up, the users will see a ‘Undo’ button appearing above the dialogue box ‘Your Tweet was Sent’. As soon you hit the Send button, a timer will automatically start. To unpublish your tweet you have to press the Undo button before the timer expires.

Here it must be mentioned that Twitter is building a subscription product in order to reduce its dependency on Advertising revenue. But it has not been made evident which features will be exactly included into the new subscription module. It’s also possible that the ‘Undo Send’ feature might get included to this category.
