Videocon launches Infinium Z50 Nova Android Kitkat smartphone

Videocon on Monday announced the launch of its latest Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphone in India, the Infinium Z50 Nova. Videocon Industries limited is a Indian company headquartered in Mumbai. The group has 17 manufacturing sites in India and plants in Mainland China, Poland, Italy and Mexico. The company claims to be the third largest picture tube manufacturer in the world. Videocon sells consumer products like air conditioners, refrigerators, colour televisions, washing machines,  microwave ovens and other home appliances. The Videocon Infinium Z50 Nova is priced at Rs. 5,999. The Infinium Z50 Nova smartphone will be available in Sparkling Black and White colour options.

  The Videocon Infinium Z50 Nova sports a 5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) IPS display. The Videocon phone has dimensions 145.4×72.4×8.2mm.  It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor. The smartphone features 1GB of RAM. The smartphone features 8GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB  via microSD card. Videocon Infinium Z50 Nova runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The handset supports  dual-SIM (3G+2G).

 Connectivity options on the Infinium Z50 Nova include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and FM radio. On the back of the the Infinium Z50 Nova, the users will find an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with Sony Exmor R sensor and LED flash. There is also  2-megapixel front-facing camerafor the selfie lovers. Infinium Z50 Nova packs a 1900mAh battery. The new Videocon smartphone will be available exclusively via Flipkart.

Videocon had launched the Infinium Z50 Quad, at Rs. 7,349 last month. The Videocon Infinium Z50 Quad also runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat and features a 5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) IPS display. The handset measures 145.4×72.4×8.2mm. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It is dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone. The Infinium Z50 Quad sports a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera onboard. Connectivity features of the Infinium Z50 Quad include Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB and FM radio. The handset packs a 1900mAh battery.

 Videocon Infinium Graphite was also launched in October priced at Rs. 10,499. The Videocon Infinium Graphite features a 4.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) LTPS OGS display and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on its front and rear panels. The Infinium Graphite is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and offers dual-SIM support.
