Micromax launches Canvas Tab P470 in India at Rs 6,999

Micromax has rolled out the 3G-enabled voice-calling Canvas Tab P470 tablet in India. The micromax Tab P470 is priced at Rs. 6,999. The tablet is being offered in Classic Silver and Mystic Grey colour variants.

Micromax Canvas Tab P470 sports a 7-inch TFT display with 1024×600 pixel resolution. The tablet runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat-OS. It  is powered by a 1.3 Ghz dual-core MediaTek MT8312 processor clocked. The tablet comes with 1GB of RAM. the Micromax Canvas Tab P470 offers inbuilt storage, which can be expanded upto 32 GB via a microSD card. The Canvas Tab P470 offers support for 21 Indian regional languages, including Hindi, Punjabi, Malayalam, Odia, Tamil, and Gujarati.

Talking about the camera features, the tablet gets a 5-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera which HD recording capability. There is also a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The device is a dual-SIM supporting one having 2 slots for placing the SIM.he Micromax Canvas Tab P470 packs a  3200mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 158 hours of standby time and 11 hours of talk time.The connectivity features include Blutooth, GPS, USB, Wi-fi and 3G.It is loaded with apps like  Ask me,amazon,bookmy show,Dr.safety,giga jump,grow away,hike,M!pick,M!Insurace,Opera, Where is my perry, Zapr, Truce caller,M!Live, Clean Master,M!Games and M!security.

Micromax’s Yu Yureka smartphone was also launched. It features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi and has  Gorilla Glass 3 protection . The Yu Yureka measures 154.8x78x8.8mm. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939), coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. It features  2GB of RAM. The Yureka offers 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card . The Yu Yureka sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor CMOS sensor, f/2.2 aperture and flash. Users will get a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front camerafor clicking selfies and making video calls.Connectivity features of the smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone offers dual-SIM support, featuring slots for Micro-SIM cards (4G+3G). The Micromax Yu Yureka is backed by a 2500mAh Li-Po battery which is rated to deliver talk time up to 8 hours and standby time up to 310 hours.

Micromax had launched a new Android tablet called the Canvas Tab P666, priced at Rs. 10,999. It was launched  last month. The Canvas Tab P666 sports an 8-inch WXGA IPS display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Processor Z2520 and comes loaded with 1GB of RAM. The tab offers  8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card .
