If you want to check originality of your Smartphone via SMS, then go to your Message App and type KYM<space>15 digit IMEI number and then send to 14422. To get the IMEI number of your Smartphone type *#06# on your phone. Also the IMEI number is available on your Mobile box. After sending the message, you will get a return message containing lot many details about the phone and the company.
Apart from SMS, you can also download the KYM-Know Your Mobile app from the Google Playstore and get all details about your handset. This app will also inform you if the IMEI number of your Smartphone is blocked.
