Good News: Passengers might get Inflight Connectivity from January, Can Browse Internet

Good news for flight passengers. Nalco Ltd. on Friday announced that it might start the in-flight connectivity services for passengers from January. This facility will endow the passangers with Internet surfing and calling during the flight. Earlier this year, the company had got the license from Department of Telecommunications to provide in-flight and marine connectivity (IFMC) services.

The Tata group company said that there is all possiblity that it can initiate the in-flight connectivity service within a month and half. But the company stayed mum on the tariff as it is yet to be rectified.

At SATCOM-2019, organized by Broadband India Forum, NALCO Managing Director & CEO PJ Nath said “We are looking forward to start in-flight connectivity services around January. We will start with data services.”

However the Managing Director didn’t reveal anything about the Airlines they are in talks for initiating this service. He said that he can’t reveal anything on this at this moment and ensured to inform as they move on with some assured deals.
