As per the new return policy, no longer the buyers can return mobile phones unless the item is defective, or damaged.

The Amazon return policy reads, “All mobile phones that are fulfilled by Amazon, purchased on or after 7th February 2016, will have a replacement only policy. Mobile phone items that are fulfilled by Amazon will no longer be eligible for refunds.” However, you can return the Smartphone if it’s purchased after 7th February 2016, then you can order the phone for replacement. Confirming the return Amazon wrote in its policy page, “In case you have received a defective or a damaged mobile phone that is fulfilled by Amazon, you will be eligible for a free replacement.”

Apart, Amazon also has the return policy for a number of products in different categories that can be returned within the period of 7 to 30 days, based on the product. Also there are a number of other products that doesn’t come under the return policy of Amazon such as products, jewellery, software, and video games.

Well, in one hand whilst Amazon has postponed the return policy for its customers, conversely the other leading E Commerce company Flipkart has the previous year introduced Return Policy for its Mobile customers. As per this return policy, the Customers can return the handset within 10 days if they are not satisfied with the device. Instead of the device, they can either ask for a refund or can ask for a return. However, Flipkart also applies T&C for some of its products.
