How to know if your Smartphone is hacked

The world is going mobile and these days we make most of our online activities on mobile, rather than computer. It’s so because mobile is more handy and can be carried everywhere easily. But with the growing online activities, the risk of hacking also emerges, thereby making it problematic for non-technical users. It’s always easy for the hackers to hack a mobile rather than a computer. iOS is always considered safe in comparison to Android in terms of security, but that doesn’t mean iOS can’t be hacked. Here are some signs from which you can easily know that your Smartphone is hacked.

Auto Restart of System

If your system auto restarts times and again, then know that your system is hacked. Apart, if you feel that the settings of your phone or computer is auto changing, then there is possibility that your system is hacked. Instantly format your device.

Shopping Messages

The biggest symptom of your device getting hacked is transaction messages. Often it so happens that you get transaction message for products that you have not purchased at all. If so happens then know that someone has got the details of your credit or debit card. The hackers might get your payment details from shopping sites or phone or emails.

Sudden slowing down of Phone or Computer

If your Smartphone or computer runs slower that your expectations, then be aware. Sometimes hackers may use your system to mine bitcoins. Besides, if videos are playing slow on your phone in-spite of slow internet speed, then it might be a warning for you.

Shutdown of Antivirus

Sometimes hackers stop the Antivirus or security software on your device. If you feel the antivirus on your device is not working, then you must become aware. Apart, keep checking your browser always because it might happen that some extension on your browser might be spying on you. At times, these extension enter into your system through some software or website and hackers reach you easily.
