After several talks on Samsung Galaxy Note 7 about the hardware manufactures which was bad but they all say it safe. And on the account LG is taking steps to keep the safety in first place. Safety to bring the batteries less heating and not putting much pressure on processor. LG G6 is the model to launch with heat pipe cooling system and to that extensive safety test.The smartphone is being tested for a number of overheating issue and anticipated to showcase soon.
Lee Seok-jong from LG Electronics’ mobile communication operation group said that they will significantly improve the safety and quality of our new flagship smartphones as more consumers seek safe smartphones. LG to do this started taking extensive tests to check the batteries that won’t explode or harm anyone. For that company test its device to get 15 percent extra expose to heat. This kinda percentage is been used in US and Europe. Generally the featured copper heat pipes will remove heat from device as they are high thermal conductivity and absorbs heat more than regular proportion. The method is been used in desktop and laptop to minimize the heat and lowering the chance of overheating. All together the company will test anti-puncture and anti-shock to see whether the smartphone can withstand or not.
According to LG spokesperson Korean Herald, LG G6 will have built-in heat pipes which conduct heat away from phone’s SoC. As you can see from above image the heat pipes are used in LG G6. These are already setup in Galaxy Note 7 but for the LG lineup it’s new. I am thinking if the same heating pipes exploded in Note 7 then how could the setup in LG G6 will not get explode. It is matter of judging the system when are on hands and being used.LG G6 is a mixture of LG G5 and LG V20 that is hopefully will appear on Mobile World congress next month. The device likely to feature 5.3 inches display and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen resolution is 1440 x 2560 pixels. The device is gonna run on latest Android 7 Nougat and user interface used is G Optimus UX 6.0. The camera is equipped with 16 MP+16MP dual lenses with LED flash. And has 12MP secondary camera that features 1080p quality output.
The device will be sold in two variants including Single SIM (expandable 256 GB), dual SIM (expandable 256 GB) and internal memory of 64 and 128 GB. The device gets power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor with 6GB of RAM. Like other Smartphone the device is going to use 4G networking with Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. For data sharing the device is equipped with Bluetooth v5.0, A2DP, LE, aptX HD and Type C 1.0 reversible connector USB.
