Micromax lunched Canvas Doodle 2, the biggest ever and most expensive Smartphone by the company. The new phone has a 5.7-inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixel resolutions and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. As per the report the Smartphone features a 12-megapixel rare camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. Like other Micromax smartphones, it comes with Dual SIM support with dual standby option. It also features 1GB RAM, 12GB internal memory and expandable memory upto 32GB with MicroSD,. The 2600 mAh battery of Canvas Doodle 2 is said to provide 8 hours of talktime on 2G networks and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) .
In other features, it supports 2G, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity option, 3.5mm audio jack, vertical panorama in camera app, video pinning to home-screen support, Flip to mute, Smart Pause, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and includes Micromax’s ‘Blow to Unlock’ option. In few days back Micromax shows an illustration and a promotional copy of Canvas Doodle 2 on the official Facebook page, with the tagline “Can your imagination get bigger?” Now the phone has been listed at online stores @ 19,990, the most expensive smartphone from Micromax. If you will compare the phone with Canvas 4, you will find almost all features of these phones are similar except the bigger screen. The new smartphone from Micromax is expected to compete with Samsung’s Glaxy Mega 5.8 phone, still it is cheaper than Samsung Glaxy Mega.
