Micromax has launched the Yu Yuphoria smarphone in India. This handset is an affordable one. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 6,999. The yu Yuphoria can be purchased exclusively via Amazon India. The first flash sale will be on May 28. The registrations will start at 5PM IST on Tuesday.
Firstly, speaking on the design, The Yu Yuphoria has passed through number of processes like pre-bending, stamping, welding, laser etching, sandblasting, and polishing. The device comes with sleek matte finish after extreme cycles of sandblasting. The Yuphoria smartphone features a metal frame around the body. The antenna on the handset has been placed on a GOLD plated spring. The back of this device is made of soft touch plastic. The smartphone is 8.25mm thick and weighs 143g.
The Yu Yuphoria sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) TFT IPS display and comes with third-generation Corning Gorilla Glass . It is a Dual SIM supporting device. The smartphone will be offered in Buffed Steel and Champagne Gold colours.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. The handset comes loaded with 2 GB of RAM for fast performance. It offers an internal storage space of 16GB. The Yuphoria runs Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12. The phone features a Wolfson audio chip that delivers great audio experience to the users.
It features an 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 lens and LED flash. Users will also get a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture for clicking selfies. The camera on the back is placed in the center and features a “Saturn rings” design. A 2230mAh battery keeps this device alive. The connectivity features of this smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro USB . Micromax’s Yu Yureka smartphone was launched earlier. It features 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi and comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection . The Cyanogen based handset is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939) and Adreno 405 GPU. It features 2GB of RAM. The Yureka offers 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card . Connectivity features of the smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Micro-USB and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Yu Yureka sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor CMOS sensor, f/2.2 aperture and flash. There is also a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front camera.
