BlackBerry Leap launched in India at Rs 21,490

BlackBerry has launched its Leap smartphone in India at Rs. 21,490. BlackBerry Leap smartphone was unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this year. BlackBerry Leap sports a 5.0-inch 720p full-touch display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor along with Adreno 225 GPU. The Blackberry handset features 2GB of RAM. BlackBerry Leap offers an internal storage of 16GB which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

The BlackBerry leap runs BlackBerry 10.3.1 OS. Talking about the camera features, the new smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera. There is a 2-megapixel front camera for making video calls and clicking selfies. The rear camera comes with a flash, auto-focus and and supports 1080p video shooting.

Now, let’s see what the smartphone has to offer on the connectivity front, the new BlackBerry Leap comes with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetoth, Micro USB, FM, 3G and 4G options. BlackBerry Leap is backed by a 2800mAh battery, which is credited to offer up to 25 hours of mixed usage.

It is priced at $1,950 (approximately Rs. 1,22,250).Other BlackBerry Porsche smartphone available are BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983, BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9982, and BlackBerry Porsche P’9981. The Porsche Design P’9983 sports a 3.1-inch Super Amoled HD touch screen. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 (MSM8960) processor. It is loaded with 2GB of RAM. The luxury smartphone offers 64GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. The handset is backed by a 2100mAh battery. The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front camera. The connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE, FM radio and Micro-HDMI.
