Apple Watch was launched in India and now its the turn for the second-generation Moto 360 smartwatch to step into Indian market. The Android wear has been launched in India staring at Rs 19,999. It is being offered in two sizes. The 2nd Gen Moto 360 variant for Men will feature 46mm design and 42mm design. For women the watch is designed onlyin the 42mm size. The smartwatch comes with an optical heart rate monitor (PPG) to track your fitness.
DISPLAY
The Moto 360 (Gen 2) is being offered in two screen sizes, you can purchase a 1.37-inch with screen resolution 360×325 pixels and a 263ppi pixel density or a little bigger a 1.56-inch with screen resolution 360×330 pixels and a 233ppi pixel density. The screen has Corning Gorila Glass for preventing scratches. The watch is dust and water resistant with IP67-certification. The Moto 360 is made up of aircraft-grade 316L stainless steel.
BATTERY
The 42mm variant of the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) comes with 300mAh battery. The battery is rated to live up to 1.5 days with mixed use and with Ambient off. The 46mm variant is backed by a bigger 400mAh battery. This powerplant can last up to 2 days with mixed use and ambient off. If you keep the ambient on then the smartwatch will last 24 hours.
HARDWARE
The Moto 360 is powered by a 1.2Ghz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor along with Adreno 306 GPU. The smartwatch comes equipped with 512 MB RAM for doing your tasks. You can store your stuff in the 4GB of inbuilt storage. The device is equipped with sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor and a gyroscope
CONNECTIVITY
It has all that features you need to connect yourself and your gadget with the outside world. The device is loaded with Bluetooth 4.0 LE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g.
PRICE & AVAILABILITY
The Moto 360 smartwatch will be available via Flipkart and Myntra. The Moto 360 (2015) will be offered in four versions in India. The Silver Metal version with 42mm design will cost Rs. 22,999 and the Black Metal one with 46mm design has a price tag of Rs. 23,999. The Moto 360 Men smartwatch (42mm) with Cognac Leather in Brown colour and Women wear(42mm) Blush Leather material in Rose Gold colour can be purchased at Rs. 19,999.
