New Firmware update for Samsung Galaxy Note 5

A new firmware update has been rolled out to Samsung‘s GALAXY Note 5 smartphone. But, it is not the Android Marshmallow 6.0, which you have been desperately waiting for. Are you Dissapointed? Please Don’t be. We all know something is better than nothing. The new update is  for Android 5.1.1 Lollpop. As for now, the users in Singapore have started receiving this update with build number LMY47X.N920IDVU2AOJ4. You have to download this OTA update,  which is 145MB.

The update always brings some new features and improvements. Let us go through them. With the new firmware for the Galaxy Note 5, the users can optimize their battery usage. Users can now have their conversations without any hiccups as there is improved call stability . There are also many security enhancements. It is worth remembering that once you have downloaded and installed the update you cannot downgrade. The reason we know is changes in the security policy. Other connectivity options include Micro USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.


The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 are available in India from last month . The Samsung Galaxy Note 5  32 GB variant is being offered at Rs. 53,900 and the 64GB can be purchased for  Rs. 59,900 .
