Nokia X2 Announced with Check on All Speculations

Nokia, the other leading mobile and Smartphone manufacturer in the world stepped into the android world via its recently released Smartphones Nokia x, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL. Post release of this devices, report was around the corner if the giant was gonna bring a real successor to the Nokia X device that was supposed to be named as Nokia X2. Many speculations, serial of teasing, a number of banners and finally the mystery got revealed. I mean putting check on all speculations, the giant finally announced the Nokia X2, the proud successor to Nokia X. The device is based on the same Nokia X platform and runs on the out-of-the-box Jelly Bean 4.3.

An overall hardware estimation reveals that the Smartphone boasts a 4.3″ WVGA display with 480×800 pixels resolution and the device is powered by a  Snapdragon 200 SoC with dual-core 1.2 Cortex A7 CPU and Adreno 302 GPU. Whilst in the previous device supported with 512MB RAM, this time it has been augmented to 1GB. Apart, it comes equipped with 4GB of internal memory which can be extended up to 32GB via a Micro SD card. Besides, the Nokia X2 packs a 5MP rear camera with HD recording credentials and a VGA front cam for self-capturing.

As I have told you earlier, the Nokia X2 runs on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. But there is also a loofall. The loofall is that you can’t browse through the Google Play Store. You can only use certain apps selected by Nokia with 15GB of OneDrive storage space by Microsoft. Apart, the Nokia X2 is quite enhanced with navigation since it packs a separate back and home button. The Dual SIM device will be made available in multiple color options that include black, orange,glossy green, glossy yellow, white and matte dark grey. Approximate estimated cost of the handset will be Rs. 8100.

So, now it’s to be seen, how much efficient this new device from Nokia is proved. I mean if it can beat it’s predecessors in market share or can stand as a strong contender to the existing and upcoming Android devices from other leading manufacturers.
