Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet launched at MWC 2015

Sony has launched the Xperia Z4 Tablet at MWC 2015, Barcelona. It features a 10.1-inch 2560×1600 pixel IPS Triluminos display, with a 300ppi pixel density. The tablet weighs 395 grams. The screen features scratch-resistant glass. The tablet is just 6.1mm-thick and has IP65 and IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, and can survive immersion up to 30 minutes in 1.5 metres of water.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet and Xperia Z4 Tablet LTE is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 SoC(Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57) coupled with Adreno 430 GPU. There is 3GB of RAM inside to offer superfast performance to this device. The tablet features 32GB of built-in storage that can be expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card.

Talking about the camera, It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with an Exmor RS sensor. For making video calls or clicking selfies, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing with a wide-angle lens camera. Other features of the The tablet include digital noise cancellation, Hi-Res audio playback support, Sony 3D Surround Sound technology (VPT), Clear Audio+, and xLoud tech.

The Sony Speria Z4 tablet is loaded with Connectivity options like NFC, 4G LTE (Nano-SIM), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with Direct and hotspot functionality, Micro USB, Bluetooth v4.1 with A2DP, GPS/ A-GPS with GLONASS and FM radio with RDS. The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is powered by a non-removable 6000mAh battery that is credited to deliver up to 17 hours of video playback. Sony will also bring three new accessorieswith this tablet in the month of June. Sony is going to introduce a specially-designed Sony BKB50 Bluetooth Keyboard, which couples with the tablet to create a laptop-tablet hybrid. The keyboard also features a touch padand other  ports. Sony will launch smart Bluetooth speaker. It has also announced a Sony SRC32 tablet cover that serves as  a flip case and stand.

The new Xperia Z4 tablet is the successor to the Xperia Z2 Tablet, and will hit the markets in the month of  June in Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE models. The device will be offered in Black and White colour variants. Currently, there are no reports about the pricing and availability.

The Xperia M4 Aqua was also launched at MWC. It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (quad-core 1.5GHz + quad-core 1.0GHz) and Adreno 405 GPU.. It features 2GB of RAM. It sports 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with Sony Exmor RS mobile image sensor and f/2.0 aperture . There is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera which comes with a wide 88-degree angle.
