Xolo X1000 launched: Boasts of its 4.7 inch HD display and 2GHz Atom CPU

Of late Xolo, the branded mobile manufacturer has hit the Indian market with its latest and third Intel powered Smartphone Xolo X1000 with PowerVR SGX540 GPU and 2GHz Intel Atom Z2480 processor. The device boats of its 4.7 – inch HD 2.5 D edge curved TFT LCD display (with a single glass – similar to the Galaxy Nexus) with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels with a pixel density of 312 ppi, that definitely makes it a handset worthy to handle.

The Smartphone was grounded by Xolo at Goa just a few hours ago. Reportedly, the device will be available in the market at a price of just Rs. 19, 999 and will be started selling from March 21. However, it’s already available on India’s one of the largest online stores Flipkart for pre-order.

The device comes featured with numerous advanced specifications apart from the above specified once. The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and supports 1 GB RAM and 8 GB Of internal storage space for memory purpose, which can be extended up to 32 GB using a microSD card.

From camera point of view, the device features an 8 megapixel rear camera with 3264×2448 pixels resolution and LED flash which will assist you to imprison the memorable moments of your life. Apart its 1.3 megapixel front camera will help you go for a video chat with your friends and family uninterrupted.

Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, USB port of v2.0, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, and GPS. The device features a 1,900mAh battery which provides you the maximum battery backup of 5 hrs for browsing and approximate 9 hrs for 2G and 3G talktime. However, the overall time backup for this Smartphone on a single recharge is claimed to be of 14days.

The Smartphone measures 133.9 x 67.6 x 9.1mm and bears a weight of 140gm. It supports varied sensors such as accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Ambient light sensor and Proximity sensor. While the device is claimed to be the fastest Smartphone ever by the company, it’s to be seen how much it stands up to the expectation of the users. Let’s wait and watch.
