ZTE Launches Grand S2 in China, Costs $280

ZTE, the Chinese Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment and Systems Company recently launched the Grand S2 in China at $280. We did have the opportunity to get a glance of the high-end Smartphone device during CES 2014. Though at that time, the Smartphone was on development stage but was enlisted in the category of soon to be launched devices list which was showcased at CES 2014 and it was the device that attracted the attention of the spectators.

While the Smartphone hit the local market recently, sources reveal if ZTE is planning for an international release of the Smartphone soon (yet a rumor) at the same price range it launched in China. However, the launch date is yet to be confirmed and what we notice the device is full of high-end specs worthy of every modern censure that the present day youth quest for in a Smartphone. But the loofall we noticed in the device is the traditional design which is quite identical to that of the low end devices and hence might make you bothered at the initial look. But from specs point of view, the device would be a perfect Android phone at an affordable price.

A brief look on the technical specs of Grand S2 reveal that the Smartphone comes featured with a 5.5 IPS display with OGS technology and is powered by an Adreno 330 GPU with 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. For storage purpose the phone supports 2 GB of RAM  with 16 / 32 GB of internal storage capacity and features a 13 MP rear facing camera with a 2 MP secondary camera worthy of video calling. For durable power back up it packs a 3000 mAh battery. Apart, it supports 4G LTE connectivity and runs on the Android Jelly Bean as the default Operating System. Besides, sources reveal that the device is gonna receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update soon.

So while we cross our fingers to get the international release date of the device, in the meantime you guys decide if you are ready to put your hands on the device. Anyone reading this post from china, let’s know if the device is equivalent in description as we have mentioned here.
