Root Galaxy A20 with Magisk/ SuperSU/KingoRoot

Today we have came up with rooting procedure for Samsung Galaxy A20 for the users. Rooting is done with any three methods using Magisk/ SuperSU/KingoRoot.

Samsung Galaxy A20 is 6.4 inch Smartphone with HD+ super AMOLED display. The device runs on Android Pie and equipped with Exynos 7884B octa core 1.6 GHz processor. The device holds 13MP+5 MP primary camera and 8MP selfie camera. Charge up the device 4000 mAh battery and enjoy your daily pleasure.

Caution

Once the Samsung Galaxy A20is been rooted can’t return back to its original ROM unless until it is been treated with Official stock ROM. So do think a bit more times to root the device and bear the warranty loss. You won’t be able to get official OTA updates on your Smartphone. Pre-Requirements

  • Samsung Galaxy A20
  • Windows PC
  • You must have network with 4G connectivity on your PC or laptop what you are using to download files from here
  • Original USB cable must be used or else the device will not get detected
  • Battery power must be roughly 40% or more to stay away from automatic shut down
  • Enable the USB Debugging by Settings > Applications > Development and tick the USB Debugging box. Afterwards untick the USB Debugging box for security grounds
  • Back up all the personal data present in phone through backup apps
  • Install a custom recovery like TWRP to flash files
  • Unlock the bootloader of your phone

How to Unlock the bootloader Samsung Galaxy A20 without using PC

  1. Go to Samsung Smartphone Settings
  2. There tap on About phone in your Devices
  3. Now go to Software information, there Tap 7 times on the Build number (the information is shown how many times left to tap)
  4. You go back to the main setting page again and there Find the Developer Option in the settings
  5. Now open the Developer Option.
  6. Then turn on the toggle button OEM Unlock. And that’s it.

Method 1

Root Samsung Galaxy A20 Using Magisk

  1. First download the Magisk zip file on your phone and then move to internal storage.
  2. Boot to recovery mode by pressing Volume Down and Power button and do not release the button unless until you see the Boot animation.
  3. Then tap on Install from the TWRP Recovery page and select the Magisk .Zip file from the internal storage.
  4. Tap on Swipe to confirm Flash and reboot the Smartphone.
  5. When the phone gets booted, install the, Magisk Manager APK.

You have successfully rooted the Samsung Galaxy A20 by using Magisk file

Method 2

Root Samsung Galaxy A20 by SuperSU

  1. Download the SuperSU zip file in phone and then move zip file to phones internal storage.
  2. The phone must have installed with custom recovery. Now boot to recovery mode by pressing Volume Down and Power button and do not release the button unless until you see the Boot animation.
  3. Tap on Install from TWRP recovery page.
  4. There locate the Super SU zip file from the internal storage and Swipe to install the zip
  5. When the flashing is completed, then tap on Reboot system.

Successfully, you have rooted the Samsung Galaxy A20 with the help of SuperSU zip file.

Method 3

Root Samsung Galaxy A20 with Kingoroot

  1. This is the easiest rooting tool, so first download the KingoRoot APK.
  2. Go to settings->security-> enable Unknown Source option.
  3. Install the APK file on your phone and open the Kingoroot App and tap on One click Root button.
  4. The phone reboots several times and after few minutes the process gets completed.

Check the device is rooted or not

  • First of all download Root Checker App from Google Play Store.
  • Then Open the App → Click Verify Root

Now, here you will see the message “Congratulations! Root Access is properly installed on this device” if your device has been successfully rooted.
